The Yuba Liberation Coalition (YLC) is thrilled to share that the Intergovernmental Services Agreement (IGSA) between ICE and Yuba County Jail will end!  This means that ICE will finally cease using Yuba County Jail as a facility to detain individuals in federal immigration proceedings for the first time in twenty-eight years.  This marks an end to the last immigration detention contract with a California county!

There are four individuals currently detained in ICE custody at Yuba County Jail. With the termination of the IGSA, two of them are in danger of being transferred to another detention facility.  We know that this just contract termination can be completed without harmful transfers to other ICE detention facilities. Help us stop the transfers!
